The Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Health Unit provides a Prenatal Education Series that will help you experience a healthy pregnancy and have the healthiest baby possible.
The prenatal education series consists of:
• access to the e-learning prenatal education program, The Gift of Motherhood and/or
• in-person prenatal education classes (breastfeeding, preparation for parenting and labour and delivery/hospital tour).
Expectant parents and support persons are encouraged to start prenatal education as soon as possible in their pregnancy. Classes are FREE and support persons are encouraged to attend.
June 8 – Preparation for Parenting, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
June 15 - Breastfeeding, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Classes are offered in partnership with the The HUB”s Ontario Early Years Centre, Quinte Health Care Belleville General Hospital and Gateway Community Health Centre. The Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre and the Prince Edward Family Health Team also provide information on Labour and Delivery for clients in Quinte West and Prince Edward County.
